I think Dr. Atkins got his whole idea of a low-carb diet from eating in Argentina.Meat, meat, and more meat!

There is an Argentinian restaurant, right down the street from me. I can tell you from 1st experience. If you don’t like meat don’t go Argentinian restaurant.

And the reason why people in other countries the matter with the diet are thin is because they need real food. Our diet, well let’s just say our canned foods are the reasons why we have a weight problem in this country.

Where’s the beef!

I always wonder how people in those countries stayed so skinny because it is not like they eat small amounts. I guess it is just the difference in how the prepare it and they don’t deep fry and inject everything with “flavoring”.

Wow, the Argentina beef and tourism board should hire you to do marketing reviews. I’m ready to pack my bags and head to Argentina to have a beef feast. Gee now though when I eat the American beef I’m going to wish and dream I was instead sitting on the veranda on a moon lit night on the pampas enjoying Argentinian beef with good friends. It doesn’t get any better than this.

Hi, there, I grew up in Arg. I just came back from BS. AS. last week after moving to USA some 20 years ago. Arg is got the BEST beef in the world especially young cattle meat. I was there 3 weeks and ate at least 3-5 parrilladas per week. Ii just love asado, chinchulines, rinon, befe de chorizo, befe de vacio…gosh, just about everything from parrillada. Oh, and don’t forget choripan…with an lot of chimichurri..yummmm.

I was over in Argentina last year, and I agree totally with your comments.

The food was amazing – the portions large and the cheap and the quality of the raw ingredients superb.

I can’t wait to get back there.

Greetings from NYC. If you take a trip to New York, you must go to Peter Lugar’s Steakhouse in Brooklyn. My fave is the 38 oz Porterhouse Steak. Enjoyed this post!!
