Fabulous. Any way you can email me the photos from india. particularly interested in any photos that provide good shots of you or tom or the kids playing with all of the other kids - working on a campaign for a life insurance product that is available only to volunteers and would love to use some of your photos if you are interested.

Sent email to Tom and told him that I thought I might be in Inidia with Becky during the first week of March - I'm guessing that I would just miss you guys.

Let me know how long you are going to be there as well as when you are coming back to the states.

India can be a little overwhelming at first. But you get used to it after awhile. You just have to be really safety conscious. My biggest fear in India was getting hit by a truck or getting some nasty disease. If you are aware of your surroundings you should be OK.

I recommend getting out to one of the local villages for a day trip if you can. Maybe one of the workers can take you to their native place. The village life is much more quiet and peaceful and is really the heart of India. Most foreigners tend to stay in the big cities and miss out on the village experience. Just make sure to bring flashlights. You need them to make sure you don’t step on a cobra or scorpion at night. I forgot my flashlight one night and ended up stepping on a snake. Contrary to popular belief cobras are more interested in rats than humans.

Tom- if you are up for it I recommend eating at an Annapurna cafeteria if you can find one or something similar. They have great tiffins and thalis. I used to sit there ordering and eating one tiffin after another. It is a great way to sample all the different south Indian dishes. It makes my mouth water just thinking about it.

Take care and have fun!

What gorgeous pictures! It looks like your time at the school is being wonderful and well worth the trip. I'm glad you have extended your time there. Maybe we should put together a family trip in a couple of years to volunteer there. Everyone looks so happy.

We love you and miss you.

PS Happy Birthday Mac- sent you an email, hope you got it.

Hugs and Kisses-

Although I'm not anxious to expose my ignorance, I'd like to learn more about the school and what the acronym RSO stands for. Cousin Drew Danick is nearly ready for his Bar Mitzvah next month. We are proud of his diligent preparations for that. If you were in the US of A, you'd have received an invitation too!
