This kind of day is right up my alley! It sounds like a lot fun teaching such eager students. I want to go next time - put me in the room with Miss “Paaaaants” and I'll teach vowel blends. I think I'll start with the OI sound since that's my speciality. You know, boiled eggs, tin foil, and gargoyles . . .
I miss y'all!

It turns out Laurie was a professional hockey player in his day. (The Canadians) He didn't remember Lou. The color of clothes is very typical.

The kids definitely enjoyed their time as teachers... well everyone but Kieran.

Is Laurie a Winnepeg Blue Bomber fan? If he's in his 80's, he might remember Lou!

Your day of teaching sounded like a wonderful experience. We're very proud of all the kids. They look like they enjoyed being English teachers for a day.
Anne, your efforts to break the "repeat after me" mode were pretty funny. This trip has provided many opportunities for gaining patience!
Are the colorful clothes on the children in the pictures typical?
Love to all--
